Electus Matari
We deployed to the southern theatre last night to led aid to our allies Electus Matari. The operation was their third attempt to anchor an Astrahus in Ardar right next to the Floseswin gate. If deployed it would have provided an excellent staging area for the already intense fighting that has been going on in that infamous system. The war between the Empires has raged for years but every so often the balance is shifted in one way or another. It is clear that the recent rumours of House Sarum readying a new invasion plan of Floseswin IV had a deciding factor for EM to join the militia.

 What we didn't expect was the Villore Accords joining the Minmatar militia also. The announcement from their leader; Julianus Soter to leave the Federation militia at the end of last year was sad but not surprising. The war against the Triglavian Collective had left most of the State controlled systems either lost or near devastated. So much so that by Soter's standards, not worth pursuing. One of my colleagues; Chet-Shi shares this sentiment and has made that opinion publically known. With the combined might of both EM and GMVA, I'm quite sure that Floseswin will be safe.

I will admit I am no naval expert and my exposure in such large scale warfare is next to none. So what happened during the operations, good or bad is best left to someone with a lot more experience to explain. During the fight the amount of data coming through my own neural uplink was overwhelming enough, goodness knows what the FCs have to deal with and then make those nano-second decisions?! In all the chaos I am not sure I helped all that much. Maybe for a moment to draw the attention of the enemy guns away from the Typhoons being flown by the fleet. I think if the fight had continued as it was we may have prevailed to anchor the structure. As it turns out life is full of surprises. Last night's surprise was in the form of a pirate alliance called Snuffed Out. They have a reputation for spoiling parties and this was no exception. They dropped a fleet the same size as both us and the Amarr militia combined. We were unsure if they were here to fight both of us or they were here to aid the enemy but we knew this fight wasn't winnable either way.

Despite the loss, the FCs were optimistic with the debrief being a very focused and structured conversation that gave me cause to share that optimism. I hope and look forward to being apart of more operations with Electus Matari and allies.

YC122.10.29 - Crimson Harvest

It marks the start of what they call Crimson Harvest and it will be my first time actually seeing it. The older classmates at the University would tell scare stories of Amarrian cults that would capture you because you were a clone, believing that your blood was sacred to them. They would string you upside down and drain you like cattle and bath in your blood. They wouldn't kill you straight away no, you would be kept alive to ensure every last drop was squeezed out of you. You would suffer a very long and painful death until you were recloned. They would somethings finish the story with a crescendo of evil laughter, which seems cheesy now I think about it. I didn't know what to expect, but Edward (aka Mantel) our FC reassured me that it was going to be a straightforward exercise. We were to form up in Tanoo ready to attack an Astrahus class citadel owned by an individual named Silas Vitalia. I had been told she had upset quite a few people, enough to warrant the destruction of her base. Our CEO Charles said that we had been contracted to carry out the destruction of it and that as far as he knew, it was going to be just us.
